This policy explains what TableDelights Edge (“the application”, “we”) does with your information. It covers the application itself and, in particular, the Google account data the application can access if you choose to connect Google Drive for backups.

TableDelights Edge is published by Nutrishades Delights Pvt, licenced under the brand Delights.One, Hyderabad, India.

1. Where your restaurant's data lives

TableDelights Edge is on-premise software. It is installed on a computer inside your restaurant and stores its database on that computer. Your menu, orders, bills, staff accounts, customers and sales history are held there.

We do not receive that data. The application does not upload your operating data to us, and we operate no service that collects it. We have no analytics feed from installations, no telemetry of your sales, and no ability to read your database remotely.

If you send us a support file, or ask us to help on your machine, you are choosing to share that information with us at that moment. We use it only to answer the support request.

2. Google user data — what we access and why

Connecting Google Drive is optional. The application works fully without it, backing up to a USB drive or a network folder instead. If you do connect it, this is exactly what happens.

Scopes we request

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — per-file access to files the application itself creates in your Drive. This scope does not give the application the ability to see, open, list or modify any other file in your Google Drive. Your existing documents, photos and folders remain inaccessible to it.
openid and email — used only to display which Google account is connected, on the backup screen inside your own installation, so the person who connected it can confirm it is the right account.

How that access is used

To create a single folder in your Drive for backups.
To upload backup archives of your restaurant's own database into that folder.
To list and verify those archives, so a backup can be confirmed rather than assumed.
To delete older archives the application previously uploaded, according to the retention you configure.
To download an archive back to your machine when you choose to restore.

It is used for nothing else.

Where the data goes

Backups upload directly from your restaurant's computer to your own Google account. They do not pass through any server operated by us. We hold no copy of your backups, and no credentials that would let us reach them. Backup archives are encrypted before upload.

Your Google credentials

Authorising Drive produces a token that is stored encrypted on your own computer, in a file outside the application's database, readable only by the account the software runs under. It is never transmitted to us and never included in a backup archive.

Limited Use disclosure. TableDelights Edge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we confirm that we do not:

transfer or sell Google user data to third parties, data brokers, or advertisers;
use Google user data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or credit assessment;
use Google user data to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models;
allow humans to read your Google user data, except where you have given explicit consent for a specific support request, where it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

3. Withdrawing access

You can disconnect Google Drive at any time, in either of two ways:

inside the application, on the Backup screen, using Disconnect — which also revokes the token with Google; or
from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Once disconnected, the application stops uploading. Backups already in your Drive folder remain yours and are unaffected; you can delete them from Drive whenever you wish.

4. Information we do hold

To sell and support a licence we hold ordinary business-contact information: the restaurant's name and address, the owner's name, email address and phone number, the GST number if you give us one, and a hardware identifier of the machine the licence is issued for. We use it to issue and support your licence, and to contact you about the product.

We retain it for as long as your licence is active and for as long afterwards as Indian tax and accounting law requires. We do not sell it.

5. This website

This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party trackers and has no advertising. Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested — for security and diagnostics, for a short period.

6. Children

TableDelights Edge is business software sold to restaurants. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how Google user data is handled will be communicated to licensed customers directly.
